The Executive Terminal Operations position at a Leading Petroleum Company is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe overall operations of the terminal. This role requires expertise in terminal operations management, logistics and supply chain coordination, and adherence to safety compliance and regulations. The incumbent focuses on optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance. The role is ideal for a professional with at least three years of relevant experience and strong skills in terminal operating systems and staff cooperation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring stocks reconciliation (Receipt, sales, Gain / Loss, OMC’s & bulk supplies).
  • E Parcel receipts (Pipeline & decanting T/Ls) plan as per ullage in respective product tank.
  • Effective product loss control, gain / loss analysis on daily fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & yearly basis.
  • Must ensure stock reconciliation on daily basis including OMCs loaned/borrowed stock, eSuit data entries & stocks closing on gauge book & Daily Transaction Report.
  • Keep updated Calibration record of all T/Ls, which report at Terminal for filling or decantation.
  • Product Flow meter report study, analysis & catching discrepancies.
  • Strict implementation of SOP’s, follow up & suggestions for improvement of system controls / system up gradation/ Reviews from time to time.
  • Ensure safe decantation of Tank Lorries with accuracy in quality & quantity measurement.
  • Ensure quality & quantity controls measures, checks & procedures follow up.
  • Ensure use of measuring equipment having valid calibration certification
  • Ensure effective control of work permit system for all maintenance / projects / modification work with in terminal premises.
  • Ensure proper maintenance & follow up with engineering of Terminal equipment.
  • Enhance pro-safety culture & enhance EHS among all stakeholders in Terminal by means of conducting quarterly mock fire drill, issuance of safety violation tickets & safety toolbox talks.
  • Ensure decantation receipt plan as per ullage in respective product tank.
  • Maintain minimum inventory level of operational equipment all the time.
  • Ensure documentary requirement of audits & observations follow-up.
  • Monitoring of all operational activities, procedures, and safety & controls checks.
  • Detail reporting with remedial action on occurrence of any incident / accident.
  • Suggest ways and means to reduce Terminal-operating cost.
  • Ensure proper record keeping & filing of all documents.
  • Staff training, succession development & performance evaluation.
  • Advice Terminal’s upgrading plans to be included in Capex.
  • Monitor Terminal administrative matters.
  • Liaison with GOP departments (Weight & Measure, OGRA, HDIP).
  • OCAC stock report on daily basis & storage capacity on monthly basis.
  • Housekeeping & up keep of terminal.
