Engineering Sales Executive

Job Description

The Engineering Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales of engineering products, equipment, and project-based solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong engineering background and the ability to understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and develop long-term business relationships within industrial and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for engineering products and projects.Generate sales leads through market research, networking, and client visits.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers.Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with technical and project teams to develop customized solutions for clients.Negotiate commercial and technical terms with customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.Achieve assigned sales targets and business growth objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and project opportunities until closure.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit periodic sales reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.2–4 years of experience in engineering sales, industrial sales, technical sales, or project sales.Strong understanding of engineering products, industrial equipment, and project-based sales
• .Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Self-motivated with strong business development capabilities.Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
