The Deputy Manager- School Relations will be responsible for expanding TCF Impact Interventions’ reach and revenue within an assigned territory by developing and nurturing partnerships with Low-Fee Private Schools. The role will drive the adoption of TCF’s teacher training programmes and educational resources, manage partner relationships from engagement through ongoing support, and achieve assigned volume and value targets.

The role will also support the Senior Manager – Operations in managing CRM data, sales and partnership records, inventory, and related operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Development & School Outreach:

  • Own and manage an assigned geographic territory to expand the reach of TCF Impact Interventions.
  • Identify, map, and maintain a database of Low-Fee Private Schools, school systems, education organizations, and private school associations within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular school visits to establish relationships with school owners, principals, and key decision-makers.
  • Continuously expand the territory pipeline by identifying new partnership opportunities.

Solution-Based Selling:

  • Understand the academic and professional development needs of partner schools and recommend suitable education solutions.
  • Promote and secure enrolments in TCF Dastak Teacher Training programmes.
  • Promote the adoption of TCF School Publishing books and educational resources.
  • Present customized solutions through product demonstrations, presentations, orientation sessions, and consultative discussions.
  • Position TCF as a long-term learning partner supporting teacher development and school improvement.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve assigned volume (VOL) and value (VAL) targets through sales of teacher training programmes and educational resources.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Convert prospective schools into active institutional partners.
  • Track opportunities from lead generation through closure and repeat business.
  • Contribute towards the financial sustainability and growth of Impact Interventions through consistent revenue generation.

Relationship Management & Partner Success:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for partner schools within the assigned territory.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships through regular engagement and responsive support.
  • Address partner queries and provide timely guidance before, during, and after adoption.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of teacher training programmes and timely supply of educational resources.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience that encourages repeat business and referrals.

Product Adoption & Implementation Support:

  • Conduct book orientation sessions and programme briefings for school leadership and teachers.
  • Facilitate sample book distribution, collection, and follow-up with prospective schools.
  • Support schools through onboarding, adoption, and implementation of TCF products and programmes.
  • Monitor implementation and gather feedback to improve customer experience.

Exhibitions, Events & Marketing Support:

  • Represent TCF Impact Interventions at exhibitions, conferences, education expos, book fairs, and promotional events.
  • Conduct spot sales and generate institutional leads during events.
  • Organize school visits, promotional campaigns, book fairs, and product launch activities within the assigned territory.
  • Promote new products and programmes while increasing awareness of existing offerings.

CRM, Inventory & Operations Support:

  • Support the Senior Manager- Operations in maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including school profiles, leads, sales activities, partnerships, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure timely updating and cleaning of CRM data and support the generation of reports and insights for sales and partnership management.
  • Support inventory management for TCF School Publishing, including monitoring stock levels, sample books, dispatches, recoveries, and reconciliation of records.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely fulfilment of school orders and resolution of inventory or delivery-related issues.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of schools, customer interactions, sales activities, & partnership status.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-up, and recovery in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, territory coverage, customer engagement, and market insights.
  • Conduct market intelligence by monitoring competitor offerings, pricing, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.

Community Engagement & Teacher Networks:

  • Promote active participation of partner schools and teachers in Dastak's Communities of Practice (CoPs), alumni networks, webinars, and other professional learning initiatives to strengthen long-term engagement.
  • Coordinate with the Community of Practice team to encourage participation, identify teacher needs and potential teacher leaders, and share feedback from partner schools to enhance the learning experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • 6-8 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or educational marketing.
  • Experience working with schools, educational institutions, NGOs, publishers, or training organizations will be preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales or business development targets.
  • Experience in field sales, institutional sales, or B2B relationship management will be an added advantage.
