BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for a “Deputy Manager – Government Relations & Corporate Affairs” in their GR&CA department.


 

Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.


 

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Affairs, or reputable NGOs.


 

The candidate will be responsible for managing government liaison activities, regulatory approvals, stakeholder engagement, and compliance matters to support plant operations and business objectives. The role involves coordinating with government authorities, facilitating permits, licenses, NOCs, and inspections, and ensuring timely completion of regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will serve as the focal point for all government-related matters at the plant site, manage official visits and inspections, support project teams in resolving regulatory issues, and maintain accurate records of approvals, licenses, and compliance requirements.

The role also includes developing strong relationships with government authorities, local communities, and key stakeholders, addressing community concerns, monitoring regulatory developments, and providing regular updates on approvals, risks, and key developments.


 

Additional Requirements:

Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills are essential. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or development sector environments will be an advantage.
