Chartered Accountant (CA) / CFA — US Taxation & Payroll

Company Description Dolphin Advanced Technology Services is a fintech-driven IT company focused on solving real-world business problems through AI, ERP consulting, custom application development, enterprise hosting, and purposeful web design. We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA to manage US-focused accounting, taxation, payroll, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with US sales tax, income tax, and payroll processing, and can work independently across multi-state or multi-entity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file US federal and state income tax returns for individuals/businesses
• Manage sales tax calculation, filing, and compliance across applicable states
• Process and reconcile payroll (W2/1099 contractors), including withholdings and deductions
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state-level tax authorities
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end/year-end closing
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, or CPAs as needed
• Advise management on tax planning and compliance risk
• Stay current with changes in US tax law and payroll regulations

Requirements

• CA / CFA qualification
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with US taxation (income & sales tax)
• Proven experience managing US payroll processes
• Strong knowledge of IRS filing requirements and state tax compliance
• Proficiency with accounting/payroll software (QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with US-based clients/teams
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working across US time zones

Preferred

• Experience working with a US-based tech company or remote US clients
• Familiarity with multi-state tax filings
• Prior experience in a similar remote/outsourced finance role.
