Bidding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bidding Specialist with 3 to 4 years of experience, ideally within the bookkeeping and accounting sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, preparing tailored proposals, managing bids on various online platforms, and securing clients to support the company’s growth. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, understand client needs, and contribute effectively to the business development process.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and submit bids on relevant projects through platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and other B2B channels.
- Prepare professional proposals, cover letters, and quotations customized to meet client requirements.
- Focus on projects related to bookkeeping, accounting, QuickBooks, Xero, financial reporting, and tax services.
- Conduct market research to uncover potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Communicate with prospective clients, negotiate pricing, and follow up on submitted proposals to maximize conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to understand service offerings and develop competitive bids.
- Maintain detailed records of proposals submitted, client interactions, and success metrics.
- Meet or exceed monthly bidding targets to contribute to overall business growth.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in bidding, business development, or proposal writing.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping and accounting services is highly preferred.
- Hands-on familiarity with online bidding platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling proposals and engage clients effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage client relationships professionally.
- Ability to analyze client requirements and deliver customized, competitive proposals.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting services.
- Experience in lead generation and converting bids into long-term client relationships.
- Understanding of international clients and service-based business models is an advantage.
