Job Purpose

To collect, review, and analyse financial data and contribute to reporting on the financial health of company in order to support management in making informed financial decisions in accordance with he statutory laws and regulations

Job Responsibilities

 

• Collate and consolidate financial accounts from all NFL locations, transforming raw data into actionable financial insights for review and strategic decision making
• Uphold the highest standards of data integrity by verifying and validating every financial data entry, ensuring the data inputted is precise and accurate
• Prepare and consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cashflow statements, collaborating with the accounting team to gather raw financial data and cross-checking the compiled statements against source documents
• Participate the internal and external processes of financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and other important financial reporting mandates, such as the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Assist in the preparation of the weekly financial dashboards, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial analytics
• Provide in-depth insights tailored for the senior management team, in line with financial control standards and protocols
• Take ownership of the preparation process for executive reporting packages and additional financial schedules for all group entities, fostering data-driven executive decision-making
• Oversee month-end consolidation operations of all divisions/entities under NFL, ensuring uniformity and accuracy in integrated financial statements
• Assist in analysis of monthly financial reports, identify and investigate any variances/discrepancies communicate the findings to relevant stakeholders
• Facilitate internal audits to achieve consensus on financial statements, accounting disclosures, and any issues
• Coordinate the annual audit and periodic reviews by liaising with various departments to collect financial data, schedule interactions with auditors, address auditor inquiries, and ensure that financial statements align with accounting standards
• Maintain reporting procedures ensuing these comply with NFLs internal controls framework and its application to financial reporting
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in accounting and financial reporting standards to ensure NFL maintains a best practice approach at all times
  
   

Preferred Qualification, Skills And Experience

• ACCA qualified with 3-5 years’ experience in reporting Or
• ICMA Qualified with 3-5 years’ experience in reporting
  
   

Proven Expertise In

• Financial Reporting & Consolidation (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual)
• IFRS, Statutory Reporting & Financial Compliance
• Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Management Reporting
• ERP & Business Intelligence Tools (SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, Excel)
