Accountant

House of Business Machines (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with at least two years of experience to manage the company's financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and financial analysis. This role requires precision in maintaining accurate financial data and assisting in financial decision-making processes to support the company's business objectives. The candidate will work independently and will not be responsible for managing a team but will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to track the companys financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying payments, and ensuring timely disbursements.
• Handle accounts receivable by invoicing clients accurately and following up on outstanding payments to ensure proper cash flow.
• Conduct thorough bookkeeping tasks by recording daily financial transactions and maintaining financial databases.
• Prepare payroll on time and in compliance with relevant tax laws and company policies, ensuring employees are compensated correctly.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings and assist with audit preparation to guarantee compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant statutory requirements in all accounting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and improve operational efficiency.
