Maintenance Technician

We seek a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Karachi to ensure the reliable operation and upkeep of equipment, systems, and site installations. This role involves proactively maintaining machinery and electrical systems to prevent downtime, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing effective solutions. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for guiding and overseeing a team of 20 personnel to optimize maintenance processes and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate brings at least one year of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and electrical systems troubleshooting, combined with a practical approach to problem-solving and teamwork. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
 

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment failures promptly to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and lead a team of 20 technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Document maintenance activities, repair work, and inventory usage accurately for tracking and continuous improvement purposes.
• Inspect equipment and site installations regularly to identify potential issues and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support installation projects and equipment commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations during maintenance operations.
• Maintain an organized work environment and manage maintenance supplies efficiently to support timely interventions.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
