SQL Developer (SSIS)

Location: REMOTE, Pakistan

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain optimized BI solutions, including components for ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Visualizations.
• Manage a portfolio of solutions, work with multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively on progress and blockers with the project team and sponsors.
• Adopt existing best practices or contribute to improving them.
• Handle ad-hoc and urgent requests in a timely manner.
• Be proactive and hardworking.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking to solve business challenges effectively.
• Develop optimized solutions that involve complex business logic and ensure data accuracy.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as required.

Skillset / Technologies:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Software Engineering).
• Expert in databases with advanced proficiency in SQL writing and scripting.
• Skilled in SQL concepts like Stored Procedures, Triggers, CTEs, Views, window operations etc.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Hands-on experience with major BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Looker, and Data Studio.
• Strong expertise in business intelligence and data analytics.
• Practical skills in ETL design and development using tools like SSIS, Talend, AWS Glue etc.
• Proven experience in delivering complex and high-impact BI solutions.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills to design efficient workflows and automate processes.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms can be an added advantage.
