Business Development Executive

Rootlet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and driven Business Development Executive to join our team for day, evening and night shifts. If you’re passionate about sales, building strong client relationships and contributing to a growing organization, we’d love to hear from you!

We operate in international markets, particularly across African and Caribbean markets, providing candidates with global sales exposure and cross-cultural client interaction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Identify, generate, and develop new business opportunities through multiple channels including email outreach, social media, inbound and outbound calls, cold calling and networking, with a focus on international clients, especially within African and Caribbean markets.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, dealers and partners by understanding their vehicle requirements, preferences and budgets, and guiding them throughout the purchasing process.
• Customer Handling: Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email and chat, providing accurate product details and assisting customers in selecting suitable vehicles from stock, website or auction sources.
• Sales, Negotiation & Objection Handling: Prepare and share quotations offering market-competitive pricing, negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules, address and resolve client objections effectively, and convert leads into confirmed sales.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market opportunities. Stay updated on international automobile market trends, pricing strategies, competitor activities and export compliance requirements in target markets.
• Sales Coordination: Coordinate with internal logistics, customs and documentation teams to ensure smooth international transactions, shipment processes and client satisfaction.
• Sales Tracking & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, client communications, sales progress and assist in preparing export-related documentation and shipment follow-ups when required.

Requirements

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year in business development or a similar role.
• Age Limit: 18 - 35 years of age.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English, with the ability to effectively convince and influence clients. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Exposure of any call center is a plus.
• Availability: Flexible to work day, evening or night shifts as per team requirements.
