HR WAYS (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a Specialist HCM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM modules to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on providing day-to-day operations and technical support for various HCM modules including Core HR, Self Service, Absence, Payroll, Goals and Performance, Learning and Development, Talent, and Succession. The successful candidate will lead continuous enhancements, handle product release management, optimize system performance, and automate processes to improve overall efficiency. Proficiency in both technical and functional aspects is crucial for effective troubleshooting, system configuration, and delivering a seamless user experience. This position requires someone with 3 to 7 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM experience, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment without team management responsibilities. The Specialist HCM Technical Consultant will also serve as a key advisor during system rollouts, customizations, and integrations. Responsibilities include collaborating across business functions, managing stakeholder expectations, conducting end-user training sessions, and developing training materials to enhance user knowledge and system adoption. A strong command of Oracle Fusion HCM design tools, reporting technologies such as OTBI and BIP, and advanced query writing skills are essential. The candidate must bring proven experience in implementing Oracle Fusion HCM projects from end to end, applying best practices and enabling continuous system improvements while ensuring adherence to coding standards and service level agreements.
Responsibilities
 

  • Provide hands-on technical and functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Self Service, Absence, Payroll, Goals and Performance, Learning and Development, Talent, and Succession.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain optimal system performance and high availability.
  • Configure and roll out new business units within the Oracle Fusion HCM landscape according to organizational needs.
  • Apply techno-functional expertise to recommend solutions that optimize business processes and system capabilities.
  • Develop customizations using Oracle Fusion HCM development tools including Fast Formula, HDL, HSDL, and implement HCM extracts where necessary.
  • Create and optimize complex queries and advanced reports using OTBI, BIP, and other reporting tools to fulfill business reporting requirements.
  • Prepare, validate, and document technical and functional designs for custom solutions, integrations, and process enhancements.
  • Conduct hands-on testing of system changes, develop testing scripts and scenarios, and support user acceptance testing to ensure changes meet quality standards.
  • Lead end-user training initiatives, prepare training guides, user manuals, and deliver sessions to empower users and reduce support issues.
  • Manage post-go-live support activities and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and business functions to ensure seamless coordination and integration.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and streamlining existing processes.
  • Maintain adherence to Oracle Fusion HCM coding standards and optimize custom code to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis, demonstrate solution capabilities, and develop innovative approaches to bridge gaps between business requirements and system functionality.
  • Support business data validation activities and ensure data integrity by assisting with data extraction and query validation tasks.
  • Develop expertise in emerging Oracle Fusion HCM functionalities and tools to keep the system aligned with best practices and technological advancements.
