In this role, the Solar Sales professional plays a vital part in expanding Ur Solar's customer base and promoting sustainable energy solutions. The position requires daily engagement with upwards of 20 customer calls, more than 10 follow-ups, and 2 to 3 site visits, salary + commission, making strong time management and organizational skills crucial. Basic knowledge of solar system technology is beneficial, although comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond promptly to incoming sales leads to convert prospects into confirmed customers.
  • Conduct thorough site visits and customer consultations to assess needs and tailor solar solutions appropriately.
  • Explain clearly the benefits, cost savings, and return on investment associated with solar energy systems to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Handle objections related to price, trust, or comparisons with competitors using persuasive communication without immediate discounting.
  • Perform disciplined and consistent follow-ups through calls and messages to maintain engagement and drive deal closure.
  • Coordinate efficiently with the technical team to ensure seamless installation process and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales status for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Achieve daily activity targets including 20–30 customer calls, over 10 follow-ups, and 2–3 site visits to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and stay updated on solar industry trends to provide accurate and current information to customers.
