Software Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Tester

Pixcile is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Software Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Tester to join our software development team.

The ideal candidate should have experience testing web applications, mobile applications, dashboards, APIs, and business software systems. We are looking for someone who can identify bugs, write clear test cases, verify fixes, communicate with developers, and ensure our software is delivered with high quality.

This role is suitable for someone who has strong attention to detail, understands user behavior, and can test software from both a technical and end-user perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Review software requirements, user stories, and project documentation
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists
• Perform manual testing for web applications, mobile apps, and admin dashboards
• Test software functionality, UI/UX, responsiveness, performance, and usability
• Identify, document, and report bugs clearly with screenshots, videos, and steps to reproduce
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Test APIs using tools such as Postman
• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers
• Ensure software works properly across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes
• Participate in UAT support and client feedback verification
• Maintain proper QA documentation and testing records
• Suggest improvements to improve product quality and user experience

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance or software testing
• Strong understanding of manual testing concepts
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Ability to write clear bug reports and test cases
• Basic understanding of APIs and Postman
• Good knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, UI testing, and usability testing
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with developers and project managers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project management or bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or similar
• Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing
• Basic understanding of automation testing is a plus
• Experience with mobile app testing on Android and iOS
• Experience testing ERP, POS, CRM, LMS, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms is preferred
• Knowledge of performance testing or security testing is a plus
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred
