Role Overview
Threads & Motifs is seeking a high-energy, strategic, and creative Social Media & Brand Manager to lead our digital presence. As a luxury brand specializing in festive and ready-to-wear apparel, we have a large and dedicated audience that we want to transition from followers into a truly "voracious" community.
This role is not just about posting photos; it is about high-level brand storytelling, community management, and driving measurable engagement that aligns with our upcoming seasonal launches and global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Storytelling & Creative Direction
- Elevate Brand Image: Refine and maintain a cohesive visual identity across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that reflects our luxury positioning.
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute a monthly content calendar that balances high-end studio campaigns with authentic, behind-the-scenes "lifestyle" content.
- Campaign Management: Lead the digital rollout for major seasonal events, such as the upcoming April "Lawn" collection, ensuring a 360-degree approach (teasers, launch day hype, and post-purchase community highlights).
2. Community Engagement & Growth
- Voracious Engagement: Implement "Always-On" community management—proactively engaging with followers in comments and DMs to foster a sense of exclusive belonging.
- Influencer & Talent Relations: Identify and manage relationships with influencers and stylists who align with our luxury aesthetic to expand our reach into new global markets.
- Trend Agility: Pivot quickly to utilize trending formats (Reels, TikTok trends) while keeping them sophisticated and on-brand.
3. Strategic Growth & Analytics
- Data-Driven Decisions: Work closely with our data team to analyze social performance. Use insights to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
- Audience Insights: Monitor community sentiment and feedback to provide the product and logistics teams with "voice of the customer" insights.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of e-commerce trends, such as social selling (Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop) and interactive content (polls, live styling sessions).
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Social Media Management or Brand Management, specifically within the fashion, luxury, or textile industry.
- Aesthetic Eye: A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end visual curation and an understanding of luxury brand guidelines.
- Copywriting: Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to write captions that are both sophisticated and engaging.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite), CapCut/Adobe Premiere for short-form video editing, and basic Shopify knowledge.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable reviewing engagement metrics and understanding the difference between "vanity metrics" and true community growth.
What Success Looks Like in this Role
- Month 1: Auditing our current channels, establishing a new tone of voice, and preparing the social "hype" strategy for the April Lawn launch.
- Month 3: Increasing the average engagement rate per post and decreasing response times to customer inquiries on social channels.
- Month 6: Developing a consistent "cult following" where customers actively share their purchases and interact with every brand touchpoint.
