Job Description

As a leader at Zebmark, the SEO Expert manages a team of two professionals and collaborates cross-functionally to develop and implement comprehensive SEO campaigns. Responsibilities include performing detailed website audits to identify technical and content-related issues, managing outreach campaigns, and fostering partnerships to build high-quality backlinks through ethical methods. The role involves continuous monitoring of indexing performance, log analysis, and adaptation to trends in AI search technologies like Google SGE and ChatGPT. The SEO Expert relies on structured data implementation, schema markup, content structuring for direct answers, and strategic metadata optimization to improve search rankings and user engagement significantly.
Responsibilities
 

• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic search terms that align with business goals.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structures to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
• Perform comprehensive SEO audits covering technical infrastructure, content quality, and site structure to detect and rectify issues promptly.
• Implement advanced SEO practices including AI-Enhanced Optimization (AEO), Global SEO (GEO), and Cloud SEO to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Develop and manage content strategies that focus on creating entity-based, context-rich content for better AI comprehension and ranking.
• Optimize content formats such as FAQs and structured schema to target featured snippets and direct answer results effectively.
• Enhance website visibility on AI-driven search platforms such as Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) and ChatGPT by tailoring optimization techniques.
• Analyze website logs and indexing status regularly to improve crawler accessibility and page performance.
• Plan and execute link-building campaigns following ethical practices to acquire high-quality backlinks and strengthen domain authority.
• Coordinate outreach initiatives and maintain partnerships that contribute positively to backlink profiles and brand recognition.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two SEO professionals, providing guidance, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Monitor SEO analytics and key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet and exceed growth targets.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SEO tools, algorithms, and best practices, integrating new knowledge into ongoing projects.
• Implement structured data and schema markup to assist search engines in accurately interpreting web content.
• Perform ongoing content optimization to cater to voice search queries and evolving search engine algorithms.
