Senior Product Owner

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner with deep expertise in web-based enterprise applications, specifically Healthcare Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Health Portals. In this role, you will own the end-to-end experience of our EHR system—from roadmap through execution—ensuring it is seamless, reliable, and optimized for both clinical and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, clinical operations, compliance, and support teams to deliver features that improve patient and staff workflows, documentation, and care coordination. Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for PsychPlus’ web-based EHR platform.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional execution with Engineering and Design.
• Translate regulatory, clinical, and business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements.
• Partner with clinical and operations teams to streamline provider and patient workflows (e.g., documentation, scheduling, prescribing, care planning).
• Ensure usability and accessibility of the EHR across different provider and patient roles (psychiatrists, therapists, medical assistants, etc.).
• Monitor product performance, user behavior, and pain points using tools like Mixpanel, GA, Looker, and user feedback sessions.
• Prioritize enhancements that improve efficiency, drive patient engagement, reduce clinician burnout, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, DEA, CMS).
• Champion a user-centered approach through feedback loops, usability testing, and journey mapping.
• Drive product readiness for audits, quality measures, and evolving healthcare standards.
• Serve as the voice of the EHR and Patient Portals internally, sharing best practices and staying informed on health tech trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product experience, with a strong track record managing B2B SaaS or healthcare platforms (preferably EHRs or similar clinical tools) at scale.
• Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, patient journeys, clinical documentation, and regulatory constraints (e.g., EPCS, lab integrations, payer workflows).
• Experience gathering requirements from cross-functional teams and translating them into detailed product specs.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Looker, GA4, or similar.
• Proficient in agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Notion, or Asana.
• Highly organized with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to navigate complexity and drive clarity and alignment across clinical and technical teams.
• Experience in a high-growth Health tech company or with enterprise-grade EHR products.
• Exposure to healthcare standards and APIs (HL7, FHIR, CCDA, X12).
• Understanding of patient engagement tools, clinical decision support, or quality measure reporting.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Miro for workflow visualization and prototyping.

Pay: Rs418,500.00 - Rs725,400.00 per month
