Senior Officer - Claims Processor

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Senior Officer - Claims Processor with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in claims management and insurance policy knowledge. This role focuses on the efficient processing and review of claims to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The Senior Officer will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to provide exceptional service and accurate claim resolutions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to meet deadlines and maintain thorough documentation while utilizing claims processing software effectively. This position does not include managing a team but requires an independent and detail-oriented individual capable of handling multiple tasks to support the companys objectives.
Responsibilities
 

• Review and process insurance claims promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate claims documentation to ensure completeness, validity, and compliance with underwriting standards.
• Utilize claims processing software to update, track, and maintain claims information and status.
• Communicate effectively with customers to gather necessary claim information, provide updates, and resolve inquiries.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate claim reviews, approvals, and disbursements.
• Monitor case progress to ensure timely resolution of claims and adherence to service level agreements.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all claim transactions and correspondence.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating potential fraudulent claims through careful examination and investigation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the claims processing workflow and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with established deadlines and manage workload efficiently to meet business demands.
