Senior D365 Technical Consultant

HR WAYS (PRIVATE) LIMITED seeks an experienced Senior D365 Technical Consultant to join the Microsoft Dynamics Center of Excellence team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions primarily focusing on the Finance domain. This role involves collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders to develop innovative and scalable technical solutions that align company processes and technology to meet strategic business goals. Working in an agile environment, the consultant contributes to creating minimum viable products and iteratively enhancing functionalities to support long-term digital transformation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, data migration and integration, and workflow automation. They possess advanced technical skills including development in X++, .NET, Power Platform, and Azure services. This position requires extensive knowledge of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and deployment management using Microsoft best practices and security standards. Although the role does not involve direct management of a team, it includes mentoring junior developers and interacting with various stakeholders to ensure seamless technical delivery and continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
 

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align Dynamics 365 architecture with the enterprise's strategic objectives.
• Design and develop scalable technical solutions that support digital transformation and business innovation.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and integrate relevant ones into existing Dynamics 365 environments.
• Contribute to ERP roadmap planning by providing comprehensive technical insights and identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and system assessments to support informed strategic decision-making.
• Customize, design, and deploy Dynamics 365 modules across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, and Customer Service domains.
• Develop and maintain software extensions using technologies such as X++, .NET frameworks, Power Platform, and Azure services.
• Troubleshoot application issues, resolve integration challenges, and optimize system performance to maintain business continuity.
• Manage Dynamics 365 environments including builds, deployments, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) setup to ensure system stability and compliance.
• Follow Microsofts best practices for security, data governance, and compliance throughout all development and deployment phases.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and analysts to enhance team capabilities and foster professional growth.
• Facilitate technical review meetings, code walkthroughs, and knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Coordinate development activities with external vendors and partners to ensure alignment and successful collaboration.
• Guide team members by supporting certification preparation and career advancement opportunities.
• Develop custom features and enhancements that improve user experience and meet evolving business requirements.
• Optimize and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, maintainability, and ensure scalability for future growth.
• Automate repetitive processes using workflows, plugins, and Microsoft Power Automate to increase efficiency.
• Streamline deployment processes by implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines following DevOps best practices.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date technical documentation to promote continuous improvement and assist in onboarding new team members.
