MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a contracting firm proving end-to-end for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing works. Our company is the sister firm of IZHAR construction company Pvt Ltd. MEP Solutions is seeking a full-time on-site Scaffolding Inspector/Supervisor to join our team in Karachi at K-Electric Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of all scaffolding before first use, after modifications, and at regular intervals.
• Ensure scaffolding complies with applicable standards (OSHA, BS EN, local regulations, and company requirements).
• Issue scaffold inspection tags (Green/Yellow/Red) as per company procedures.
• Identify unsafe scaffolding conditions and stop the use of defective scaffolds until corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain scaffold inspection registers and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with scaffolding supervisors, HSE personnel, and construction teams regarding scaffold safety.
• Verify that scaffold erection, alteration, and dismantling activities are performed by competent personnel.
• Conduct routine audits to ensure continued compliance.
• Participate in toolbox talks and provide guidance on scaffold safety.
• Report safety concerns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist during client inspections and safety audits.

Qualification:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate (preferred).
• Valid Scaffolding Inspector Certification from a recognized training provider (CISRS, OSHA, SAIA, TUV, or equivalent).
• Additional HSE certifications will be an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding inspection.
• Experience working on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or large construction projects.
• Experience handling inspections across multiple project sites is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of scaffold design and safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret scaffold drawings.
• Excellent inspection and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent travel between multiple project sites.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work at height when required.
• Flexibility to work extended hours based on project requirements.

Preferred Certifications:

• Scaffolding Inspector Certificate
• Work at Height Training
• First Aid (Preferred)
• HSE/OSHA Certification (Preferred).
