We are seeking dynamic professionals for the role of Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager within our Corporate Banking division.  Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience specifically within Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, or Credits. We are currently looking to fill multiple vacancies across various seniority grades; therefore, applicants with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

 

The Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for the strategic acquisition, management, and retention of a corporate client portfolio to drive sustained business growth. This role entails delivering tailored banking solutions and maintaining high service standards while performing rigorous credit risk assessments—including the analysis of financial statements, management practices, and business volumes to secure internal credit limit approvals. As a senior member of the team, the incumbent acts as a catalyst for operational excellence by identifying process gaps and proposing policy or procedural adjustments to reduce Turnaround Time (TAT) and enhance overall team productivity.

A critical component of this role is a disciplined focus on asset quality and risk mitigation. This involves proactively identifying delinquent accounts, managing late payments, and following strict credit monitoring protocols to ensure timely recovery and portfolio health. Furthermore, the role involves day-to-day team management and close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure all activities remain compliant with internal policies and external regulatory reporting standards. By monitoring customer activity trends and implementing customized strategies, the RM/SRM strengthens the bank's control environment while significantly increasing market wallet share and expanding the trade wallet.


Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their financial needs and business objectives.
  • Manage client accounts by providing tailored banking solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the bank’s corporate client base.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments related to client portfolios and transactions in compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on banking products, services, policies, and processes to advise clients accurately and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as credit, operations, and compliance to facilitate smooth account management and product delivery.
  • Monitor client accounts regularly to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling banking products and services.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management and clients regarding account performance and business growth.
  • Manage stakeholder communications to ensure alignment between client expectations and bank services.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues effectively to maintain a high level of service quality.
  • Support strategic business development initiatives by identifying market trends and potential areas for client engagement.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, transactions, and compliance records.
