Advantest Interconnect Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Project Planner with a minimum of one year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, effectively allocating resources, and identifying potential risks to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. This role requires strong skills in project scheduling, risk management, and the use of specialized software tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. The Project Planner will play a critical role in supporting project managers by providing accurate progress reporting and assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies. The Project Planner position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in techniques such as Critical Path Method and PERT analysis to optimize project schedules. This role demands a disciplined approach to time management and the ability to use risk assessment software tools to forecast and control project risks effectively. Responsibilities
 

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
  • Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor project risks by utilizing risk assessment and management software, facilitating timely mitigation planning.
  • Apply the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) analysis to analyze project activities and optimize timelines.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate schedule status to project managers and stakeholders regularly.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary project information and ensure alignment of schedules and resources.
  • Use Gantt charts and other scheduling tools to visually represent project timelines and milestones.
  • Support the project team in understanding the impact of changes to the schedule and advise on corrective actions.
  • Implement best practices in project scheduling, time management, and risk mitigation to enhance overall project efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and changing project dynamics.
  • Assist in resource forecasting and ensure that resource allocation aligns with project priorities and availability.
  • Maintain documentation related to project schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation plans for audit and review purposes.
