The Peon at Haval Society plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized office environment to ensure smooth daily operations. This position involves performing various support tasks such as serving tea and refreshments to staff and guests, handling office cleaning and maintenance, and undertaking outdoor errands such as bank visits and deliveries. The Peon ensures cleanliness of the office premises while adhering to workplace safety standards. This role requires physical stamina, effective time management, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The ideal candidate has a basic educational background, preferably matriculation, and prior experience in office tasks is advantageous. The individual must demonstrate honesty, punctuality, and a courteous demeanor when interacting within the company environment.
Responsibilities
Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to employees and visitors in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all office areas, including workstations, restrooms, corridors, and meeting rooms. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash disposal following workplace safety guidelines. Assist with outdoor duties including visiting banks, post offices, or other institutions to deliver or collect documents and materials as directed. Ensure stock of office supplies related to cleaning and refreshment services is maintained and report shortages promptly. Attend to maintenance requests by coordinating with service providers or supervisors when necessary. Support the office team by running errands to facilitate daily operations efficiently. Follow instructions and workplace policies strictly, prioritizing safety and professionalism at all times. Exhibit punctuality by arriving on time and managing tasks effectively to meet schedules without compromising quality. Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward staff, guests, and the working environment.
