Work Location: Onsite, Azaad Trade Center, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 14, Karachi

Shift: Night Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM

Salary: PKR 100,000 to PKR 120,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our Revenue Cycle team in Karachi to support patient payment operations.

About the Role

PsychPlus is seeking a Patient Collections / Payment Posting Specialist to support patient payment operations for our U.S. healthcare organization.

This role is responsible for communicating directly with patients regarding outstanding self-pay balances, collecting payments over the phone, answering billing-related inquiries, and accurately posting payments within CollaborateMD.

The ideal candidate has prior experience using CollaborateMD for payment posting, possesses excellent English communication skills, and is comfortable interacting with patients in a professional and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact patients regarding outstanding self-pay balances and available payment options
• Collect patient payments over the phone while delivering a professional customer experience
• Answer patient questions related to account balances, payments, and billing activity
• Accurately post patient payments, adjustments, and transactions within CollaborateMD
• Review payment activity and identify discrepancies when necessary
• Coordinate with billing and revenue cycle teams to resolve payment-related issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and payment activities
• Follow established payment collection policies and internal procedures
• Meet productivity, quality, and customer service goals
• Handle patient financial information with professionalism and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in U.S. healthcare payment posting, patient collections, medical billing, or revenue cycle management
• Hands-on experience using CollaborateMD for payment posting is required
• Experience communicating directly with patients regarding billing or payment-related matters
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong customer service, active listening, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Ability to work onsite in Karachi during the night shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing patient self-pay payments
• Experience working with patient payment plans and account reconciliation
• Experience supporting U.S. healthcare revenue cycle operations
