We are seeking experienced Medical Scribes based in the Philippines to support our U.S. providers through accurate, real-time clinical documentation.

About the Role

The Medical Scribe will work closely with healthcare providers to document patient encounters, maintain accurate medical records, and support efficient clinical workflows. This role requires exceptional listening skills, strong medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to produce accurate documentation in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently during or immediately after provider visits
• Prepare clinical notes based on provider documentation and established guidelines
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy
• Update patient histories, medications, allergies, and other clinical information as directed by providers
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Assist providers with documentation-related administrative tasks
• Ensure all documentation complies with organizational standards and applicable privacy requirements
• Communicate professionally with providers and internal teams
• Maintain productivity and documentation quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Scribe supporting U.S. healthcare providers
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation
• Experience using EHR or EMR systems
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong typing speed with high accuracy
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine providers
• Familiarity with telehealth documentation workflows
• Experience with Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Epic, AdvancedMD, or similar EHR systems
• Certification or formal training in Medical Scribing is a plus
