EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and professional Officer - Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This role requires a proactive individual who possesses excellent customer service skills and can manage front-desk operations efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and handling a variety of administrative tasks with accuracy and discretion. This position suits fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience, who are eager to embark on a career in general administration. The Officer - Receptionist will be responsible for managing telephone systems, visitor registrations, and record keeping while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate strong organizational abilities alongside clear, effective communication skills. This role demands a courteous and polished demeanor to positively represent EFU Life Assurance Ltd., ensuring that daily front office operations run smoothly and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
Responsibilities
 

  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls using the telephone system, providing accurate information or forwarding calls appropriately.
  • Manage visitor registration through the Visitor Management System, ensuring security protocols and company policies are followed.
  • Perform record keeping and documentation duties, maintaining accurate and organized files and correspondence.
  • Assist with general office administration tasks including handling mail, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the professional image of EFU Life Assurance Ltd.
  • Handle inquiries and provide information about the company in a clear and concise manner to visitors and callers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and communications.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and effective time management to support smooth daily operations.
  • Support the administration department by contributing to various clerical or operational tasks as needed.
