Human Capital HR Solutions is hiring a Manager – Operation Theatre for a well-established hospital in Karachi. We are seeking an experienced and proactive healthcare professional to lead Operation Theatre services, ensuring efficient surgical operations, patient safety, and compliance with hospital quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to schedule elective surgeries while effectively prioritizing emergency cases.
Oversee the daily operations of the Operation Theatre to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Monitor and manage the inventory of surgical instruments, medicines, medical gases, sterile supplies, and other OT consumables.
Ensure all OT equipment is properly maintained, regularly serviced, fully functional, and appropriately sterilized; report any faults or damages promptly.
Develop and manage duty rosters while allocating nursing, technical, and support staff according to surgical schedules and workload requirements.
Enforce compliance with infection prevention and control protocols, surgical safety checklists, hospital SOPs, and accreditation standards.
Ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-organized OT environment, including proper biomedical waste disposal and adherence to OT dress code policies.
Coordinate with clinical and support departments to ensure uninterrupted surgical services.
Supervise and mentor OT staff, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training needs.
Prepare operational reports and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance OT efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications
BS in Operation Theatre Technology (BS OT) or BSN from a reputable institution.
Relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
Experience
More than 6 years of relevant experience in Operation Theatre management.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manager – Operation Theatre in a reputable hospital.

Required Skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization, and infection control practices.
Expertise in OT planning, scheduling, and resource management.
Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure environments.
Knowledge of hospital quality standards, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Work Schedule

Duty Hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week (Full-Time)
