doctHERS & Naya Jeevan, two purpose-driven organizations committed to improving access to quality healthcare and employee wellbeing across Pakistan, are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented IT Support Officer / IT Technician. This full-time position is based at the head office in Karachi and involves managing daily IT operations to ensure seamless functionality across both corporate and community health environments. The role demands hands-on support for network and Wi-Fi issues, hardware and software troubleshooting, IT asset management, attendance system administration, and oversight of company IT applications, including CRM and ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and resolve network and Wi-Fi connectivity issues across multiple offices and sites.
- Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, and access points, including basic network settings.
- Oversee the biometric attendance system, handling employee setup and troubleshooting related issues.
- Provide first-level hardware support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and biometric devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and operating systems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including allocation, tracking, and recovery processes.
- Assist employees with IT-related queries both on-site and remotely, ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage IT domain tasks such as user access, email setup, and permissions administration.
- Support and coordinate the use of company CRM and ERP systems, including user management and basic troubleshooting.
- Administer internal IT applications and digital tools utilized across various departments.
- Ensure regular system updates, antivirus protection, backups, and adherence to basic data security protocols.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Facilitate IT provisioning and recovery during employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and data security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and IP configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems; basic knowledge of Mac OS is advantageous.
- Experience managing attendance systems, IT applications, CRM, and ERP platforms.
- Practical skills in hardware troubleshooting and IT asset management.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-departmental environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with remote team support, VPNs, and cloud-based tools is desirable.
