IT Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support and assistance to employees regarding IT-related issues and service requests.
• Monitor computer systems, networks, and IT equipment to identify and resolve system malfunctions and performance issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and updates on hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Install, configure, and deploy computer systems, servers, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, update, and maintain software applications, including Microsoft Office, antivirus solutions, and business-related software.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement corrective actions, repairs, and system improvements as required.
• Maintain records of IT incidents, troubleshooting activities, repairs, and system performance reports.
• Assist in ensuring data security, system reliability, and compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, software support, and technology-related services when required.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects across the organization.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and software applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business software applications.
