We are hiring a full-time remote Insurance Benefits Specialist to join our Global Talent Hub in Pakistan. This position supports PPT's clinic and school operations by completing verification of benefits and eligibility checks for various insurance payers, payer setup in client profiles across EMR systems, Medicaid consents and management for school clients, and other functions that support PPT's clinic and school operations. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and organization across multiple administrative workflows essential to client onboarding and service delivery.


 

You're the right person for this role if you're thorough on VOBs, don't let eligibility gaps slip through to service delivery, and keep payer profiles clean and current across every system you touch.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete Verification of Benefits (VOBs) and eligibility checks for Medicaid and commercial insurance clients across clinics and schools
  • Create and update client payer profiles in PPT's EMR systems
  • Manage Medicaid initiatives for PPT's school locations, including data management and consents
  • Support authorizations, intake processes, and other administrative tasks related to clinic or school operations as assigned


 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of U.S. medical insurance experience
  • Proficiency with benefits verification platforms for U.S. insurance companies
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
  • Strong computer proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when following protocols
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines
  • Clear, professional written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a virtual environment


 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Administrative background in healthcare or behavioral health
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, database systems, and electronic record platforms (e.g., Fusion)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain consistent workflows
  • Professional communication skills when contacting external partners
  • Experience working in remote or distributed teams


 

Requires 8 hours of overlap with U.S. working hours (evening/night shift in Pakistan)
