About the role

Adnan Khan Tutoring is looking for an experienced, organised, and proactive HR & Recruitment Executive to support and manage day-to-day recruitment and HR operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can actively carry out recruitment tasks while also supporting key HR responsibilities across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting across three online platforms, arranging and conducting interviews, supporting employees with HR matters, monitoring attendance and timekeeping, assisting with appraisals and disciplinary matters, and helping create clear policies and internal communication.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment while following UK-based working hours.

Key responsibilitiesRecruitment and selection

  • Manage the full recruitment process from start to finish
  • Create, post, and manage job adverts across three recruitment platforms and other suitable hiring channels
  • Screen CVs and applications to shortlist suitable candidates
  • Conduct initial screening calls and interviews
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates professionally
  • Support hiring decisions and assist with onboarding new team members
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of quality candidates for current and future vacancies
  • Keep recruitment records up to date and provide hiring progress updates

HR support and employee relations

  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR matters
  • Support employees with HR queries, concerns, and general workplace issues
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Help ensure professional and clear communication across the team
  • Support a positive and well-organised remote working culture

Performance, appraisals, and staff support

  • Assist with probation reviews, appraisals, and performance monitoring
  • Help managers address performance concerns where needed
  • Support performance improvement processes and follow-up actions
  • Encourage accountability, professionalism, and high standards across the team

Attendance, timekeeping, and discipline

  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Follow up on lateness, absence, and timekeeping issues
  • Assist with disciplinary and conduct-related matters in a professional manner
  • Help ensure employees understand expected working hours, responsibilities, and behaviour standards

Policies, procedures, and communication

  • Assist in creating, updating, and improving HR policies, procedures, templates, and internal guidance
  • Ensure HR information is communicated clearly and consistently
  • Help maintain structured processes for recruitment, onboarding, attendance, appraisals, and conduct
  • Handle confidential HR matters with professionalism and discretion

Requirements

  • Minimum 2*/3 years of experience* in HR, recruitment, or a similar role
  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and selection
  • Experience supporting day-to-day HR operations
  • Experience with interviews, employee relations, attendance monitoring, appraisals, and disciplinary support
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working remotely in a professional work-from-home setting
  • Able to work UK business hours
  • Willing to be available in the evenings and weekends when required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, video calls, and online recruitment platforms

Preferred

  • Experience working in an education, tutoring, online learning, or service-based business
  • Experience recruiting for remote teams
  • Experience helping develop HR systems, policies, and internal processes

Home working requirements

  • Must be based in Pakistan
  • Must have a reliable laptop or computer
  • Must have stable internet suitable for remote work and video interviews
  • Must have a quiet and professional home working environment
  • Power backup is desirable
