Role Description Homeroom Facilitators are responsible for guiding and supporting learners in their daily academic and personal growth within a classroom setting. In this full-time, on-site role based in Karachi Division, facilitators plan and deliver engaging learning experiences, oversee day-to-day classroom routines, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive environment. They collaborate with other facilitators and school leadership to align activities with VLC’s philosophy, integrating creativity, critical thinking, and play into the curriculum. Facilitators communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, provide feedback on learner progress, and coordinate projects, events, and learning experiences that build community. The role also includes observing learners’ needs, adapting strategies, and modeling the values of empathy, respect, and authenticity.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom facilitation and learner-centered teaching skills, with the ability to manage group dynamics and maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with learners, parents, and colleagues in a respectful, partnership-based manner.
• Capacity for creative lesson planning, project-based learning, and integrating play, arts, and exploration into daily activities.
• Emotional intelligence and empathy, including the ability to support learners’ social-emotional development and model kindness and resilience.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle classroom routines, documentation, and coordination of activities.
• Prior experience in teaching, facilitation, or working with children in educational or community settings is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
