In this role, the Head of Sales Marketing will leverage deep industry knowledge and insights into consumer behavior to enhance the companys positioning in a competitive market. The ability to build and maintain influential relationships within the construction sector is essential for driving sales performance and sustaining long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies specific to the building material sector to achieve revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of three sales and marketing professionals, setting clear targets and providing coaching to enhance their performance.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the construction and building material industry.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, industry professionals, and other key stakeholders to foster brand loyalty and collaboration opportunities.
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies that align with company objectives and effectively position products within target markets.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with product development and operations teams to align marketing efforts with product capabilities and supply chain efficiencies.
  • Prepare detailed sales and marketing reports to inform senior management of progress, challenges, and market opportunities.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to building materials.
  • Drive customer relationship management initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and referral business.
  • Develop marketing campaigns that communicate product benefits clearly and persuasively to different customer segments.
  • Manage budgets effectively to optimize the allocation of resources across sales and marketing activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key customers and partners to maximize profitability and secure long-term commitments.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the sales marketing division, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
  • Identify potential new markets and customer segments to expand the companys footprint in the building material industry.
