Happenings is seeking an innovative Event Designer with at least two years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate leads a team of five and specializes in developing unique event concepts that captivate clients and attendees alike. This role demands expertise in spatial design, vendor coordination, and 3D visualization to transform ideas into immersive experiences. The Event Designer plays a crucial role in translating client needs into compelling event environments, ensuring every detail aligns with the envisioned concept while managing timely and efficient execution on-site. The successful candidate possesses a strong creative mindset paired with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Staying current with the latest industry trends and best practices is essential to create innovative and memorable designs. This position requires hands-on involvement throughout the design and event execution phases, coordinating closely with vendors and managing the team's efforts to deliver exceptional results. A background in field experience for event design or dcor ensures the practical knowledge to handle the dynamic nature of event production.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop and refine event concepts by thoroughly understanding client vision and objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of five in the creation and implementation of event designs to ensure alignment with client goals.
• Create detailed spatial designs incorporating aesthetic and functional elements for diverse event types.
• Utilize 3D visualization techniques to present and communicate design ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners to secure required materials and services.
• Oversee on-site execution to ensure the event design is implemented accurately and resolves any emerging issues promptly.
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the design and execution processes to uphold quality and consistency.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, team members, and vendors to facilitate smooth project flow.
• Stay informed on industry trends and innovative event design techniques to continuously enhance creative output.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather client feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
