Email Marketing & Automation Specialist

Work Setup: This is a flexible role. Candidates can choose to work remotely or onsite depending on their preference and location.

About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to own our email marketing operations, from campaign creation to automation setup. This is a junior role with a strong emphasis on email best practices, deliverability, and list management. You'll primarily work within GoHighLevel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, schedule, and manage email campaigns end-to-end
• Write and edit email copy that drives opens, clicks, and conversions
• Set up and maintain automated email sequences and workflows
• Manage and segment contact lists to ensure targeting accuracy
• Monitor campaign performance (open rates, CTR, deliverability) and report insights
• Implement and manage UTM tracking across all email campaigns
• Configure and verify SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to ensure email authentication and deliverability
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and send times
• Maintain email hygiene and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR basics)
• Collaborate with the team to align email efforts with broader campaigns

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on email marketing experience
• Proficiency in at least two of: Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, GoHighLevel
• Working knowledge of marketing automation and workflow logic
• Understanding of email deliverability best practices including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration
• Familiarity with UTM parameters and campaign attribution tracking
• Basic copywriting ability
• Analytical mindset — comfortable reading campaign data and acting on it

Nice to Have:

• GoHighLevel experience specifically
• Familiarity with CRM pipelines and lead nurturing
• Experience with SMS marketing
