Hiring: Chief Pilot

Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Department: Flight Operations
Position: Full-Time
Minimum 5,000 Total Flight Hours

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Chief Pilot to lead flight operations, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain pilot competency, and uphold the highest standards of aviation safety across business jet and VIP charter operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee pilot qualifications, licenses, medical certifications, type ratings, recurrent training, and proficiency checks.
• Manage crew scheduling, flight rosters, and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) assignments.
• Ensure compliance with Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL), rest requirements, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Assess new destinations, airfield suitability, runway performance, and operational risks.
• Coordinate with PCAA and relevant military aviation authorities for restricted airspace and airfield operations.
• Maintain and update the Company Operations Manual, safety bulletins, operational circulars, and compliance records.
• Conduct pilot performance appraisals and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain active flying currency and operate as a Line Captain when required.

Requirements

• Valid Pakistan CAA/PCAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Relevant command type rating for business jets, such as Challenger, Learjet, or equivalent aircraft.
• Minimum 5,000 total flight hours, including at least 2,500 hours as PIC on multi-engine turbine/jet aircraft.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in corporate aviation, VIP charter, executive transport, or airline flight operations management.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan Civil Aviation Rules (CARs 1994), ICAO standards, flight safety, and operational compliance.
• Experience in crew management, regulatory coordination, and aviation safety oversight.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
