Our client Unss Apparel is looking for a CCTV Surveillance Manager in Karachi

Unss is seeking a diligent CCTV Surveillance Officer to join its security team. This role involves overseeing the monitoring of security camera systems, ensuring comprehensive video surveillance coverage across multiple locations. The officer will work under a rotational shift schedule to maintain 24/7 vigilance and provide accurate incident reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong observational skills, an understanding of CCTV systems and surveillance software, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security protocols.

In this position, the CCTV Surveillance Officer manages a team of 10 personnel, coordinating their activities to optimize the efficiency and reliability of surveillance operations. The officer ensures adherence to data privacy standards, supervises access control procedures, and leads emergency response efforts when necessary. Effective communication and meticulous documentation form core aspects of the role, supporting overall organizational safety and compliance objectives.

Responsibilities

 

• Monitor CCTV cameras continuously to detect and record suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Analyze CCTV footage using surveillance software to identify incidents and provide detailed reports.
• Maintain security logs and document incidents accurately and promptly.
• Supervise and coordinate the surveillance team, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational protocols.
• Conduct access control monitoring, verifying entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations according to established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations concerning the handling and storage of surveillance data.
• Communicate effectively with security personnel and management to relay critical information and coordinate security efforts.
• Train team members on the use of surveillance equipment, emergency response, and reporting protocols.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance assessments on CCTV hardware and software to guarantee optimal functioning.
• Maintain high levels of alertness and observation to anticipate and prevent potential security threats.
• Prepare and present detailed incident reports and documentation to support investigative and compliance processes.
• Adapt to rotational shifts flexibly while consistently upholding professional standards and security measures.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to support broader organizational safety and security goals.
• Assist in the development and refinement of surveillance procedures and protocols to enhance operational effectiveness.
