Why this role matters
Think of this as a mini Virtual Property Manager track. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, operations, and strategy, turning raw performance numbers into actionable growth plays that move the top and bottom lines. If you love uncovering insights, fixing what’s broken, and watching the revenue needle jump, this one’s for you.
What you’ll do
• Performance Tracking & Analytics
o Own daily and weekly dashboards for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, net revenue, and host profitability.
o Proactively surface red flags, trends, and quick wins across 100+ listings.
• Pain-Point Diagnostics
o Deep-dive into under-performing units to spot pricing gaps, listing-quality issues, amenity misses, and guest-feedback themes.
o Run root-cause analyses and present concise “problem → hypothesis → fix” memos.
• Strategy & Experimentation
o Design and A/B-test pricing tweaks, promo calendars, and amenity upgrades.
o Partner with Tech (Pricing API, BI) and Ops (VPMs, Onboarding) to roll out fixes.
o Track experiment impact, double down on winners, or pivot fast if results disappoint.
• Stakeholder Communications
o Turn data into compelling narratives for hosts, supply teams, and leadership.
o Create quick Loom videos, Slack updates, and one-page insight decks to keep everyone aligned.
• Continuous Improvement
o Help refine SOPs for listing audits, pricing alignment, and guest-review loops.
o Suggest automation opportunities to keep the revenue flywheel spinning.
The toolkit you’ll bring
• 0–2 years in analytics, revenue management, growth, consulting, or similar (fresh grads welcome).
• Comfort with Google Sheets/Excel; bonus points for SQL, Looker/Power BI, or Python.
• Sharp eye for patterns and the courage to call out what’s not working.
• Startup grit: bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, MVP mindset.
• Passion for travel, hospitality, or real estate doesn’t hurt!
What success looks like after 12 months
• 3–5 bottom-line growth experiments rolled out company-wide.
• ≥10 under-performing listings turned around with documented playbooks.
• Revenue dashboards trusted as the single source of truth by VPMs & leadership.
• Promotion path mapped toward Revenue Manager.
