About the role:
As an Area Sales Officer, you will be responsible to manage on-ground indirect sales activities within the assigned area along with the Area Sales Manager through the franchise channel and converting market opportunities to drive sales.
Your Impactful Goals will include:
- Understanding Telecommunication Industry and business landscape during the training period.
- Achievement of assigned monthly/annual targets through effective franchise management. A few of the KPIs have been mentioned below:
- IM Stock Management
- Gross Adds - First Call Activation (FCA) & MA targets delivery
- E-load / FS serving stock availability in the market
- Educate retailers about major offers
- BVS Device Management
- Monitoring and suggesting ways for improvement of market share within the assigned territory.
- Execution of assigned projects in line with organizational goals.
- Responsible for franchise servicing and retail enablement of assigned territory.
- Ensuring Telenor Way for Work & Telenor Values from Franchise Channel.
Your Typical Day of work will look like:
Franchise Management:
- Timely and effective communication of targets and its monitoring/reporting.
- Regular market visits to gather insights and competitor information etc.
- Profitability monitoring and staffing at franchise end.
- Franchise and retail staff motivation and training sessions.
- Franchise servicing, csat, dsat and enablement of franchises staff on product & processes.
- End-to-end ownership of franchise documentation.
- Adherence of pta & company's sop at franchises
Distribution:
- Ongoing improvement of trends (minimum balance retailers, servicing at retail level for FS and GSM)
- Retail footprint expansion to increase availability of products and services
- Channel investment monitoring
- Ensuring and improving quality of sales
Projects
: Work on other projects assigned by line manager with the aim to constantly improve Sales & Distribution target achievement
What we are looking for?
Education: Min. Bachelor's degree with specialization in any field, preferably on the Business side.
Work experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of experience.
This a field sales role and candidate should be willing to travel within the city.
Potential Career Path:
This position offers the following career path options besides growth within indirect sales channel:
- Roles within S&D Operations and S&D Planning, which are geared more towards planning
- Trade Marketing - Regional execution or nationwide planning.
- Direct/Corporate selling within Business Solutions department.
