Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Karachi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, handling receivables and payables, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role will also involve assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Accountant will collaborate with internal departments and management to provide accurate financial data that supports decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting tools.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic auditing practices.
• Candidates should possess abilities in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in equipment, industrial, or service-oriented organizations.
