Video Editor (Short Form Content) – Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Video Editor who specializes in creating engaging short-form content for social media. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to capture attention within the first few seconds and create content that keeps viewers watching until the end.

We're not looking for someone who simply cuts clips together. We want a creative storyteller who understands audience psychology, pacing, and what makes content perform across different platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, polished content with strong storytelling.
• Create compelling hooks and retention-focused edits to maximize audience engagement.
• Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, sound design, and visual effects where appropriate.
• Adapt editing styles to match different brands, industries, and audiences.
• Stay updated with current social media trends while maintaining originality.
• Collaborate with the creative team to deliver content aligned with campaign objectives.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality work.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form social media content.
• Expert-level proficiency with professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and platform-specific editing styles.
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Excellent creative judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
