Book Formatter

We are looking for a detail-oriented Book Formatter to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have experience formatting books, eBooks, workbooks, journals, guides, and other publications for both print and digital use.

Responsibilities

• Format books professionally
• Format headings, paragraphs, margins, spacing, headers, footers, and page numbers
• Create and format Table of Contents
• Format workbooks, journals, guides, eBooks, and print books
• Prepare print-ready PDF files
• Prepare books for Amazon KDP and other self-publishing platforms
• Set correct trim size, margins, bleed, and page layout
• Work with images, tables, graphics, and other book elements
• Make revisions based on project requirements
• Review final files carefully for formatting and layout errors

Required Skills

• Strong Microsoft Word formatting skills
• Good Canva design and formatting skills
• Knowledge of Amazon KDP book requirements
• Experience preparing paperback, hardcover, or eBook files
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Kindle Create, EPUB formatting, Adobe Acrobat, IngramSpark, or Lulu will be considered a plus.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant book formatting, document formatting, or publishing experience preferred.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
