Role Description The Assistant Manager Fund Raising and Donor Relationship is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi Central District. This position is responsible for planning and executing fundraising campaigns, cultivating and maintaining relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and institutional funders, and identifying new funding opportunities. Daily tasks include preparing proposals and grant applications, developing donor communication materials, maintaining donor databases, and tracking fundraising performance. The role also involves organizing fundraising events, coordinating outreach activities, preparing periodic reports for management, and ensuring timely acknowledgment and stewardship of all donors. Collaboration with program, finance, and communications teams is essential to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and impact narratives.
Qualifications
 

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret fundraising data, donor behavior, and financial reports for informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Finance and Investments to understand funding structures, budgeting, and resource allocation for programs.
  • Experience or familiarity with Investment Management and Equities to engage effectively with high-net-worth donors and institutional partners where relevant.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relationship management, or non-profit resource mobilization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and donor presentations.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree or fundraising certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the non-profit or healthcare/mental health sector is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
