Job Title: Team Leader QC & STS

Job Location: Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan

 

What You will do:

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the planning and safe execution of all kinds of maintenance activities, including preventive, condition monitoring, corrective, and predictive maintenance.

  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance of equipment in line with manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Achieve assigned equipment KPIs.
  • Communicate safety alerts and ensure compliance with safety standards, including JSA and work permit requirements.
  • Maintain and update maintenance of software/tools, ensuring data security and backups.
  • Plan and execute preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Issue or obtain the MAXIMO Sheet from the Maintenance Planners for new or unscheduled maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with Operations for equipment availability and provide regular progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and close job sheets with complete details.
  • Supervise team performance, ensure discipline, and identify training needs.
  • Manage contractors and oversee work quality for critical repairs.
  • Assess and recommend spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations, risk management practices, and SOPs.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and uphold organizational values and code of conduct.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

You Bring (Qualification & Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Only HEC or University attested degrees will be considered.
  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of heavy equipment, cranes, RTGs, and automotive systems.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and their enforcement.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and IBM Maximo.
  • Skilled in using testing tools and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
