We are hiring SQA Automation Engineer - Karachi Onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Detox. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality through comprehensive automated testing, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.

• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify, report, and track defects to resolution.

• Create, automate, and conduct integration and regression tests for software applications using Playwright, with a preference for JavaScript.

• Ensure all critical issues are prioritized and resolved promptly, ensuring software quality at every stage of the development process.

• Review requirements and design documents to ensure the software is testable and meets expectations.

• Document testing outcomes and prepare detailed reports for various stakeholders, including senior management.

• Continuously improve testing processes, driving the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and standards.

• Participate in responsive web design testing and cross-browser compatibility, as well as mobile application testing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SQA automation.

• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Detox.

• Knowledge of project management and test management tools.

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

• Strong experience in responsive web design testing and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience in mobile application testing.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and work under tight deadlines.

Work Days: Monday - Friday

Work Timings: 10 am - 7 pm

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Karachi
