Room Attendant

Join Hotel & Suites as a Room Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and comfort for our guests. This role focuses on thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming environment that meets the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in housekeeping or hospitality and possesses keen attention to detail and strong knowledge of cleaning practices and safety protocols. In this position, you are responsible for performing various housekeeping duties including inventory management, waste disposal, and maintaining safety compliance. As a Room Attendant, you will work independently to complete daily room inspections and use hospitality management software to track inventory and maintenance needs. This role does not involve team management but requires coordination with other hotel departments to provide seamless service.
Responsibilities
 

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas following established housekeeping procedures and safety standards.
• Perform thorough room inspections using a checklist to ensure all areas meet hotel quality and hygiene requirements.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, updating the inventory management system accurately.
• Properly sort and dispose of waste, adhering to recycling procedures and waste management policies.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department to ensure timely repairs.
• Follow safety and hygiene compliance guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for self and guests.
• Utilize hospitality management software to log room status, inspection results, and inventory updates.
• Maintain organized storage areas and housekeeping carts to enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to hotel policies and standards to create a positive guest experience through cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with hotel staff to coordinate room readiness and address guest requests.
