Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a software house or tech company.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) for test automation
