Job Description

Mushtaq & Sons is seeking an experienced Offset Graphic Designer with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in offset printing processes and graphic design preparation. The ideal candidate is skilled in handling prepress and proofreading tasks and ensuring accurate color management to guarantee print quality. This role requires expert knowledge of print production workflows, plate making, and artwork preparation tailored specifically for offset printing. The designer will work closely with the production team to produce high-quality printed materials, verifying that all components meet client specifications and printing standards. Attention to detail and technical expertise in offset printing techniques are essential to succeed in this position. The Offset Graphic Designer will be responsible for managing design files through the entire print production process, from initial artwork preparation to final plate making. This role demands strong coordination with print operators and quality control to identify and resolve any production issues promptly. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, the candidate must be a self-driven professional who ensures adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks. Responsibilities
 

• Prepare and proofread graphic artwork materials ensuring all elements meet print production standards and client requirements.
• Manage color accuracy and consistency through robust color management practices across all print jobs.
• Coordinate with the production team to facilitate an efficient and effective print production workflow.
• Create and prepare plates accurately for offset printing machines, ensuring precision in plate making processes.
• Oversee the quality of all artwork preparations, making necessary adjustments to enhance visual and technical outputs.
• Support the implementation of offset printing techniques, troubleshooting issues to maintain production quality.
• Collaborate with print operators to verify that printed outputs match design specifications and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the print production cycle.
• Maintain documentation of print job specifications, adjustments, and quality control measures.
• Contribute constructive feedback and ideas to improve existing print production processes and techniques.
