· Managing, organizing, and maintaining library resources in government institutions. The role ensures accessibility of books, journals, and digital materials, while supporting research, education, and administrative needs.
· Organize, classify, and catalogue books, journals, and other library materials.
· Maintain library records, registers, and databases.
· Assist readers, students, and staff in locating and using library resources.
· Ensure proper issuance and return of books and materials.
· Maintain discipline and order within the library premises.
· Introduce modern library practices, including digital cataloguing and e‑resources.
· Prepare reports on library usage, stock, and requirements.
Perform any additional duties assigned by competent authority.
