Organize, manage, and maintain the school library, including books, journals, and other learning resources, in accordance with departmental instructions.
Prepare and update catalogues, accession registers, and circulation records using manual or computerized systems.
Facilitate issue and return of books and guide students and teachers in effective use of library resources.
Plan and support reading programs, literacy activities, and reference services to promote a reading culture in schools.
Conduct stock verification of library materials and report loss, damage, or shortages to the Head of Institution.
Perform any other library-related or administrative duties assigned by the competent authority under government rules.
